WEEK 2: MARKETINGAfter landing in Spain, start with multinational corporations to local sponsors, your chance to understand how a club formats its sponsorship and integrates it with their marketing to satisfy the needs of the fans, players and sponsors throughout the season.
WEEK 3: OPERATIONSBoth new facilities and old, your chance to study the changes in facility design, management and use from those built for the 1992 Olympics to the modern designed to the specifications of athletes and how teams of all levels and ages utilize them to win.
WEEK 4: FRONT OFFICEA data driven deep dive into how analytics are collected, studied and disseminated in both the locker room and front office to drive performance of players by the coaches and the revenue streams of the general manager and their staff.
WEEK 5: SOCIAL DIGITALHow digital engagements and social media differ from college athletics and pro sports in the USA, to clubs and universities in Europe, along with ensuring maximal impact of connected account activity from players, sponsors and fans.
WEEK 6: CAPSTONEReview your time overseas to plan your capstone project, which can be a singular topic of interest or a broader scope of interconnected areas you covered with the assistance of your new network of professional sports contacts.
